I enjoyed this book so much! Adair is such a grumpy closet optimist, and it just makes me laugh! We catch up with Adair and the chaos spirit acting as his “assistant” as they discover a dead body in the woods. The shenanigans and chaos that ensues are head spinning but also so engaging. We have a new friend in this book, Enzo, and I absolutely loved this character . What a dynamic he brought to the new case!
The author does such an amazing job weaving tragedy with humor throwing in some life lessons for our chaos spirit. The way the story weaves and tangles is impressive, and by the end, it becomes so clear that I am left captivated by the mastery of bringing all the ends together. I’m excited to see where book three will take Adair and his own journey and slowly assembling group of friends around him.
