My wife and I enjoyed the trilogy while driving from IA to AZ. It kept us alert through the two day trip. We liked the way tips, tricks and techniques were spread throughout the story. It makes it much easier for me to discuss the strategic and tactical decisions (pro and con) with my wife. She can then relate them to various scenarios in other locations around the country to better understand the complexities of planning, logistics, situational awareness, etc. We’ve listened to some stories about unlikely heroes who oscilate between basket case and Terminator. This series seems much more realistic. It was an enjoyable listen.
