This is the second book by Craven that I’ve bought. Both books were obviously loaded up with fake reviews. Boring, lame characters with uninteresting story line. The majority of the story is the author over explaining some simple survival task that he obviously barely understands. And the title “scorched earth”, really? A few middle age guys go camping, get stranded, find everything they need without any hardships including 2 teenage girls who just lost both parents but somehow are ready for love. Lame!!! I love the narrator though. Have listened to alot of his work. As I listened I found myself feeling sorry for him having to read this garbage. I at least could turn it off. Lately I have found that you can no longer trust the book reviews. What a shame.
