What other book might you compare Craving to and why?
Obviously there’s the Twilight comparison. This was so original and fresh and filled with characters that truly capture the reader. The book sets up a larger story arc without making the reader feel cheated into a cliffhanger… Remy is an amazing character – fabulous and funny and flawed. The interplay between the two lead characters is infectious.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene when Remy makes a confession to Beanie was fantastic. Summers writes great dialogue and the scene was really well played. Love how the narrator brought the scene to life. It was intense and arresting and really sexy.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I loved it. I imagined it would be just a retread of True Blood or Twilight…but the premise struck me as totally original and the character development is great. Remy is flat out a fabulous literary character. The fact that he has a sexy British accent is just icing on the cake.

I hope the others in the series are released soon… i’m hooked. The book is classified as erotica – but I thought that was kind of misleading and might deter some people. There is some steamy sex…but what makes this book work is the skill of the writing and the originality of the characters. It’s smart and romantic and funny.
