What a rollercoaster. Literally! As we follow Carl, Donut, and Katia onto the 4th floor, things get seriously bumpy. Matt Dinniman takes us for a ride on the Iron Tangle throwing us for several loops and turning up the drama to a 10. With the suspense and ever changing rules of the dungeon adding tension to our favorite party, the question becomes not id they’ll make it to the next floor, but what will it cost them?
My only complaint with the audiobook version was the addition of The Critical Drinker. It was fun to have a little bit of variety in the narration, but the notable difference in recording quality was jarring and took away from the immersion. I am glad it was only for a short interlude that he was included.
