After enjoying other litRPG series like Dungeon Crawler Carl and The Wandering Inn, I was on the lookout for a new hardcore litRPG series. Life Reset (New Era Online) distinguishes itself from other series with its village/city building aspects. The main character not only develops his own character but has to build a complete town from scratch, including the necessary infrastructure, people, and trades, to reach his goals. As a reader, you can follow the MC’s decisions, including all the necessary stats. I realize this is not everybody’s cup of tea, but I loved it. The writer uses some real humor in his writing, and in the end, you really care for the created village with its inhabitants. The main character isn’t too fleshed out, but I liked him enough. I hope the next part in the series will be just as exciting.
