went into this expecting chaos and got farm-colony survival documentary energy instead β€” and honestly? It worked. The story is told after the battle through multiple perspectives and recovered footage, which gave it a cinematic feel while still hitting emotional beats. Roger the AI absolutely steals scenes with his sarcastic menace personality, and Cindy the pig deserves her own fan club.

The plot is straightforward survival sci-fi but layered with cryptic clues that had me confused in a good way until everything clicked into place. There are subtle nods for fans of Dungeon Crawler Carl, but they never take over the story.

Travis Baldree’s narration was a standout β€” his tone grounded the characters and added authenticity. Jeff Hays had a very small role, so this really felt like a Travis-led performance.

Not my usual genre, but I had a great time with it.
