Random cursing and a quirky ‘I’m so clumsy and witty’-esque main character give this book the feeling of unseriousness and tension breaking. The writing style feel like a 17 year old writing a book for a 14 year old who just learned what curse words are, even though all the main characters are supposed to be in their mid 40s the only saving grace for the series is it’s 1 credit for 40 hours of content on audible so if you listen to it while doing something else it’s a good value
