I liked the series – almost! Meghan was unbearable! Always too much! Too much guilty, too fixated on the “I can do better on my own”, too bossy and everything was always on her. She was the one that had to save, she was not giving up (as if anybody else was), and when she did save anybody, she felt guilty about what she had to do. Too much. I really liked the other characters, but they did deserve some time off! LOL It was one tragedy after another, I found myself skipping big chunks of the book. I got to the end eventually but it was the “cast” that saved the book for me.
