Like the headline says, there’s just to much filler. Filler for this character, filler for that character. I admit it’s setting up the potential of the next book, but I personally hate it. There has to be real story progression, not just dumb side bar crap that you can literally skip and still understand the whole story. I didn’t make it to the end, so maybe the catgirl artwork on the cover ends with Jason’s 2nd wife but probably not. You can can basically skip this book, listen to the first hour or two and maybe the end, don’t knw abut that part because I just had to say no more and stop listening. If it goes back to the previous books, then I look forward to the next one, if this keeps up, I won’t care to ever hear the end, its just to stupid. We already know they aren’t going back to earth, they literally have multiple wives and families, their own ethics wont let them abandon it, best you can ask for is Dolos tries to force it and thats the fight they kick his ass in.
