they are getting too caught up in the artsy fartsy sound booth theater junk. I have a hard time hearing in noisy rooms. that is what I am experiencing with any rock creatures or super heavy voice changer character. The gods fighting I cannot hear at all because the idiot sound mixer made them so low because art means that distance = 20x less volume even though they are a god….
I enjoy the performance and the voice talents of the narrator. I am even ok with some audio distortion used with earlier books. this is getting too much. I avoid books with heavy music and sound effects because I can’t hear words of the story. why buy a story I cannot hear.
