Opinions on books, like music, food, and many other things, are completely subjective, so this is just my opinion.

The first book was ok. Not bad, but I had trouble staying focused on it. And I didn’t fine a single character likable.

The second book was so frustrating! I just kept wonderingly if it would ever come to an end. I did something I’ve never done, in over 10 years of listening to audiobooks, I went to the chapters with the intent of skipping ahead to the ending, just so I could put an end to it.

The books are not separated on the chapters page. There are over 200 chapters listed, with no indication where one book ends and the next starts. This only increased my frustration. I skipped ahead chapter by chapter till I found the end. I was quite surprised at who the bad guy was. And in this book I found the first likable character.

The third book was as frustrating as the second book. The only likable character in this book was Poppy. I gave up after about an hour, deciding it wasn’t going to get any better.

I refuse to waste any more time on this set of books.

As I said, to start, I found the books very frustrating and not entertaining.
