DNFing this collection and won’t be picking up anything else from this author.
Is this an MM romance? Sure. Is this a queer romance? Absolutely not. The official reason I’m never going to finish this book: the term “he she” being used twice within the first six chapters of the first book. Not to mention the blatant misogyny, biphobia (expressed by a bisexual character), and racism that have all appeared so far.
Clearly, these characters won’t be going through any meaningful character development because they aren’t the ones in need of self reflection and growth.
