If you’ve never read any of Peggy L. Henderson’s books, you’re in for a treat. She has several series and they flow together beautifully, with characters reappearing in other books. This is the 4th (short) book in her Teton Romance series. It can stand alone, but will be more enjoyable if read with the others.
Peggy’s characters are well-developed and relatable. That’s the strength of her book. Deep, real, lasting, romantic love relationships are forged in the fire of adversity. The backdrop brings to life a vital part of American history, the settlement of the Wyoming and Montana territories. The early pioneers endured hardships which are portrayed vividly. Be warned: you’ll want to read them all, and you’ll definitely want to plan a trip to this wild and wonderful parr of our nation.
