What I appreciates about this book is that it wraps a D&D style world of magic in a science fiction candy shell. Yes, I’m putting this on my science fiction shelf. Who can stop me?
This book follows a human protagonist. Ten guesses what his name is. And also his pet cat. This may sound like a silly pairing, but it’s one for the halls of great literature. People with higher INT than me can probably draw some classic analogies. I won’t bore you with that.
You’re here because you want to know if this is a book you should read. Yes. You should read it. It’s got all the things that make for a legendary story. Post-apocalyptic world building, end-stage capitalism as the ultimate antagonist, and fairy smoothies.
