Story becomes way oversexualized in a completely unatural way is the first thing I have to say. It doesn’t add to the story, it takes away. Characters become very unbelievable and seems completely railroaded. Crude but generally reasonable character? Now completely egotistical and selfish, only caring about their own pride and winning an argument over the lives of people close to them. MC becomes a total pushover and lacks even the slightest backbone, while they were easy going before it was always done with the feeling that they would stand their ground if it is important, instead they just let those around then walk all over them now. Other character is telling you to shut up while you are trying to get them to go after your daughter to save her life? No their argument with a fairy is more important than that. You get angry over it? poof it disappears magically and blames self instead of saying anything. Not realistic. Especially when someone is right. Has had some issues from the start of the series, but was only little bits before, such as people acting like killing a beast attacking them was some horrible thing they would be traumatized by (no, people wouldn’t be… especially not in a world where fighting is normal). A known even that happens every year at the same time and is a great threat that can topple cities… also gives warning repeatedly of it happening… somehow everyone is completely incompetent and ignores the threat and causes the plot line. Entire plot is based around “everyone is incompetent but us” premise. Performance is mostly fine, just some characters are difficult to understand because of the voice actor being extra consistently, otherwise voice actors do great.
