If you have issues with strong voices rambling at a high/strong volume then stay clear. MC is rational and consistent in his character with some minor growth. Main side characters are alright but not all are fully fleshed out. It is narrated in 1st person which is imo always worse than 2/3rd unless it’s some f***y psychological Memento type book since you can never actually trust that the story is as told. Mc becomes op but is not a mary sue. Overall a solid book for the genre but nothing new.
