The second book amps up the action a bit, but unfortunately drops off a lot on the character development. That being said, I still enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the 3rd in the series.
I give credit to the author as he doesn’t take easy routes or avoid difficult situations. I’ve read a lot of books in this genre and find it annoying when everything ends up working out perfect for the characters. Things happen. People are people and will react to situations much like they did before an end of the world event. Sometimes that means they do stupid stuff and the author didn’t avoid those situations.
Was an excellent way to pass the time in the car and don’t regret the credit used. Looking forward to book 3.
