Killian rejects Una after she spontaneously goes into heat during dinner. She’s in excruciating pain and leaves for the woods and the pack which finds her. She removes the mate bond on Una’s side but doesn’t touch Killian’s. Now he’s questioning everything he’s been taught about his wolf and fate.
I loved the groveling. Killian screws up, then grovels. Screws up again. Grovels some more. Una is awesome. She doesn’t let him get away with hurting her like he did. This is a very slow burn. They don’t get together until 80%. The tension leading up to it is 🤌.
The narrators did excellent work bringing these two to life.
