Overall, the story was a lot of fun and moved the whole narrative along fairly nicely. However there was so much filler in certain parts that the story itself got lost in the shuffle. Performance was exceptional, as always, and it was a delight to encounter a character who detests Chester as much as I do. I would enjoy the books a great deal more if Chester wasn’t so profoundly and needlessly annoying (and wasn’t constantly enabled in that by the party) but the rest of the characters are interesting and engaging. Looking forward to seeing what the next book brings.
