Books 1-4 were pretty good, book 5 was good, books 6 & 7 were just okay. I was ready to move on after book 5, after which it started to get a little, no, more cheesy. Still, though, you can’t beat 40+ hours, 7 books for one credit!
Overall, it was definitely enjoyable; I just wish it would have been a little more realistic with how people speak and act (more cursing, and less super-head-strong women in charge). Everyone bowing down to an 18-year-old, outspoken, girl, especially Marines with tons of combat experience, is very unrealistic… But it’s a new world, too, I guess; at least that’s what I’ve been told by my millennial wife, who told me just last night that lionesses are now running prides 🤔 As a Gen-X male and a vet, I’m calling BS on that 😘
Just sayin’, if lionesses are in charge of their pride, it’s only because it’s a gay pride 🌈
