I honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with this novel—especially since it’s written entirely through letters and correspondence. At first, that structure kept me a little on edge, and for a while I wasn’t sure how I felt about Sybil. Some of the letters even felt a bit claustrophobic. But as the story unfolded, I completely grew to love Sybil and everyone she corresponded with. The book made me pause and reflect on how we communicate today—constant texting and social media just don’t give us the same space to breathe the way old-fashioned letter writing does. Of course, even that kind of communication has its emotional challenges. Absolutely a 5-star favorite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
