Picked this up following Jeff Hays from his other work, I think it’s an interesting premise with poor execution. Although all of the voice acting is good, the actual book itself is not very well written. Pacing and particularly character moments are rushed, oftentimes it feels like characters fail to ask obvious questions, and the prose is serviceable at its best, jarring at its worst.
