I went into this with an open mind. Hell, I grew up with (and love) what must be some of its influences: Smash TV, The Running Man, Doom, Duke Nukem, Serious Sam. I’ve also played ttrpgs for 30 years. So I get it, but this ain’t it. Zero characterization, a repetitive plot, and some of the worst humor I’ve ever read.
Oh well.
