- What did you love best about Witch for Hire?
- Great and Interesting story
- What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
- Great narration and easily identifiable voices with characters. NO jarring pronunciation or weird breath stops.
- Any additional comments?
- This is the 1st book/audio I’ve attempted by this author.
The story is set in a world where paranormal creatures and humans live together, although not too harmoniously. It made for an eclectic collection of characters.
There were a few weak spots as I didn’t feel as though we found out enough about the lead characters back story and I didn’t build much of a connection with her. It was hard to keep track of some of the characters names. The bits with Elton seemed out of sync as there were so few parts where his voice is heard, but by the end it all comes together.
On the narration side Jeff Hays voices the characters fantastically well. There was good tone and voice modulation and there was no jarring pronunciation. The female voices in particular were fantastic!!!
If the story arc continues on like this, I believe this series shows promise as an interesting new world!
I fully intend to read/listen to more of this authors work!
