I played fullback as a high school player because I wanted to be like Csonk. He was the perfect combination of speed and strength… one of my childhood heroes, and still my favorite football player of all time. Now that I hear his story, I have an even greater admiration for him. If you’ve never heard of Larry Csonka, you will be after this book.
