While this book introduced some interesting new characters, it also brought in some favorite past characters from the series. The characters crew, attained past goals, and their intertwined stories were satisfying. You can read this as a stand-alone novel, however, it would be more enjoyable to see the past characters developments if you ‘ve been through the prior books in the series. I particularly enjoyed the growth of these main characters.
