I’ve always loved mimics and my players have hated me for it! lol
I like the way the mimic is portrayed, but the fluctuations in his voice are annoying. But you get sort of used to it.
Story is good and engaging.
This is my first LITRPG novel, so all the references to stats, abilities and “game mechanics” is odd. It’s distracting.
Think the book would have been better as a regular novel.
That being said, I immediately bought book 2 and I’m eager to see what happens next!
