This is not a light-hearted holiday story, due to the current circumstances and backgrounds of the main characters. However, it is a wonderful, hopeful story. I absolutely adore Jayden, who is precious and must be protected at all costs. The story comes together slowly, pieces filling in over time. It keeps things interesting! I was satisfied with the ending. A great read!
Audiobook: narration was done well. This was a new to me narrator, and I’d definitely check out their work again.
