I love a good apocalyptic/dystopian book. This didn’t do it for me though. It started off ok, but I had to stop about 1/3 of the way through when the religious right(eous) tone got too much for me. Main character a prepper super soldier? Check. Lots of verbal poetry about his guns? Check. Lots of praying and christianity. Check. I can handle some of that, but it became too many tropes and too two dimensional to keep my attention. Wish I could return it.
