This was my first experience with Colin Joseph Galtrey’s work, and I was entertained by the story. I admired the descriptive phrases which brought the world of Derbyshie Peak District alive in my imagination. I liked the character of John Gammon and his dedication to his job as a Detective Inspector. I admired the surprising twists found in this story. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I thought Mary Phillips’ narration added an emotional fillip to the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I volunteered without any renumeration to post this review which listed my opinions.
