- Overall this is a good series. I’d rate the first book an A, second a B and the third a C. Kevin Pierce makes a good book great, however I think Abrahams tried to stretch this out a bit too long. What started out great and interesting got a bit drawn out, ordinary and overall ho hum by the end. If you’re interested in prepper style books, then book A is basically that. Book 2 and 3 digress from prepper to find and attack the bad guy genre. It’s really too bad. I wish Abrahams just made book 1 a bit longer then ended it.
