Without spoilers – I liked the major twist a lot and thought it was great how that was dealt with (specifically the duel chapter) but the end of the story feels like it’s the first book of a trilogy. Final chapter easily sets up a minor antagonist and the plot twist in the middle sets up a major antagonist to end a series. The characters of importance are also made relevant and could have had pov chapters and story lines in future books (like going to daybreak academy)
So I liked what it was but feels unfinished as reads like it was intending to be the start of a series but has just stopped
