The prologue to the book with its gods and some very Zeus sounding motivations had be worried at first I’d gotten the wrong book, but once chapter 1 began, the story became a non-stop ride of fantastic fiction. The dark world Vivian (Bob) is sent to really keeps the tension turned up just to the right level to keep things exciting without becoming overwhelming or overly dramatic. The characters and interactions are all very well done. The only objection I have is that the second audiobook isn’t ready yet!
