Story unfolds through decades of letters written by and to the main character, a feisty, very much opinionated older woman. Very engaging from the start. I’d roll my eyes at some of her opinions, but they made her an authentic person. Narration on Audible was exceptional; different voices for characters gave them all more personality. Writing style was very sophisticated, like the main character. Was a great read/listen; definitely recommend it.
