When I learned about this series being written by the same artist as The Black Ocean series and performed by the same narrator I had to buy it!
Unfortunately this series was not as captivating. Book 1 was detailed to the point of dragging, typical LitRPG book 1. Book 2 and 3 felt like grinding levels and I almost gave up on the series. Book 4 though was the equivalent of a good boss fight and enjoyable listen.
Overall I would recommend to LitRPG fans, but I would not recommended to anyone but the most stout of gamers.
Mr. Naramore killed it and some of his reused voices from other readings were a fun treat.
