Adair Finch is a Time- Marked Warlock. What he does is mark a certain time and is able to go back to that specific time. therefore many times he is visiting the same place multiple times to pick up the a clue. That is why I say this is similar to Groundhog Day. It’s not until the latter third of the book that we are actually taken to a different location. I could have maybe finished the book if it wasn’t for Bree the young girl who needs help from Adair. Her character is whiny impulsive and naive. much of the action in the book is based upon what she feels or thinks about something.

So if you liked Groundhog Day you will enjoy this I did not
