So the MC and his friends are reunited and on the path of vengeance. They hunt down the leaders of a slaver army to accomplish this. Along the way they get recruited by the System to broker peace between the Races and Monsters. This results in slave cities saved, questions about Chester’s past, and the MC and Chester briefly being launched out of reality. Only for them to meet the leaders of the monsters and accidentally start an apocalyptic event.
This story continues to entertain. It is a quasi standalone; the previous novels help greatly but isn’t strictly needed. Chester is an absolute chaotic delight. The narrator is a treat. It held my attention beginning to end and launched me straight into the next one.
