Cute, mildly amusing tale of an odd couple of characters, one alive, young and bubbly and the other dead, gloomy, and frumpy who join forces to solve a murder. The weakest plot point was their inability to figure out how to communicate. They use refrigerator poetry magnets, an Etch-a-Sketch, and a foggy mirror. The ghost, Cordelia, laments early on that Ruby (the breather) doesn’t have a pencil in her apartment. Cordelia can walk through walls, carry items, and open doors, yet it never occurs to either character that Cordelia could have simply found a frickin’ pencil and a pad of paper in a neighbor’s apartment or at the office with many empty cubicles. Sheesh. I wanted to scream multiple times: GO GET A PENCIL!!!!! It ruined an otherwise fairly entertaining story.
