Oh man this was good! I’m not usually one for dramatic suspense but this one had me HOOKED! I obviously knew Mace won’t end up killing Jonas, but the reason why wasn’t apparent for a good long while and in the meantime I kept worrying for our boys!

I loved the way all three members of this triad were equal and that virtually nothing happened without the other there. This is a true equal relationship where they all fell in love together at the same time. It’s remarkably well done.

The angst is painful and hard to read. I think Mace’s story hit me the hardest. As a parent there is NOTHING as hard to live through (or imagine) than the death of a child and Mace’s guilt in this is gut wrenching.

I appreciated the imperfect way that things ended for our guys. I liked the work around the author gave us for solving some of the trickier problems, and the way that some issues just can’t be readily fixed.

Cole’s father and his situation was a nice side story as was the leading in to the next story with Ronan. I’m already hooked and his story hasn’t even started yet! (But you can bet I’m reading it next!)

This was a wonderful book – sweet, sexy, tense, dramatic, romantic, suspenseful and sappy. Just perfect!

Joel Leslie gave us another outstanding performance. He manages to differentiate the MCs and the other guys in Mace’s group. (I love, love, loved Mav’s voice!) He does a good job with the female characters and the children as well. He has a great sense of timing and emotion and moves the story along at a good pace, too. He definitely added to the overall enjoyment of this story.
