I appreciate views from religious standpoints, but all arguments should be supported by data. There is plenty of sociology studies to support why nuclear families, monogamy, sexual discretion, and democracy are better societal structures than far left, socialism, communism, and nihilistic ones. Further, the author allows for grace for Christians when they leave the path or the religion is “infiltrated” by bad actors than for other religions simply existing.
I had hoped for more given who I had heard of the book from, but it was supposed to be a read together and discuss, so even they are not likely to have know the weak arguments and bias of the premise.
