HOW does this book have 4 stars??

I do NOT see how this book deserves 4 stars. Is this for middle school or high school possibly? The writing is overly simplistic and repetitive. The characters are not likable or even relatable. 2/3 of the way through and I can’t find one good thing to say. The story, supposedly it’s snowing nonstop. If that were the case the snow would be so deep that you wouldn’t even be able to go outside. Chickens still laying eggs despite being in the dark. I could go on, it’s just bad. The characters are all whiney and the narrator makes it even worse. He may be a great narrator if he were narrating something else, but in this book the whiney is over the top. I just want it to end!!

Don’t spend your credits on this one.

I will finish it because yes, I used two credits to buy part one and part two because it had great ratings. I will update when I finish if it gets any better.
