Seriously, I picked this up impulsively as a random trash book I could put on in the background at work, so why the heck was I tearing up at the end of this story about a vacuum? How was this so good? It was funny without relying on the usual litrpg snarkiness, it was action packed and emotional and had great world building and character growth. Genuinely an amazing series and I respect the hell out of the author for doing such a great job. Hats off to the narattor as well, who managed to portray Spots innocent naivete, Arthur’s serious gravitas, and Beas girly zealotry all without bending over backwards to change his voice much, very impressive.
I just wish the conversations at the end had lasted longer to tie things up, I’ll seriously miss these characters and would have loved one more chapter to see where various characters ended up, especially after the abrupt end. I’ll be adding this author to my follow list for sure
