They left this book on a major cliffhanger. After listening to book 1 and being fully invested in these characters, it’s left me a little empty inside. Oh Doc, I’ll wait for you!
I love how the author’s mind works, and how well she develops her characters. She also depicts her characters. I’m left, at the end of this book) dying a little inside because I don’t have the next installment and I don’t want the characters to leave; I miss them.
