I gave it a solid 20 hours hoping it would get better or there would be some sort of development in the characters. I was not a big fan of the narrator nor the storyline. There is no concept of space and time for any of the characters. Everyone spends too much time talking and making mistakes. And then talking more and repeating the same mistakes over and over at nauseum.
The narrator would be better fit as the voice of a mean girls type book as he gave everyone a pesky, snide, tone, regardless of the situation or the character.
I really wanted to like this book and I am sorry but not sorry. I just don’t. It was bad for me all the way around
