I made it through the book which is a plus to start with. There are of books that are just trash these days and I’m far more likely when I’m buying a lot of books on sale to just stop wasting my time and move on to another book. This was good enough for a listen. Would I listen again? Probably not. Not sure I’ll be going for book 2. Much of the story did not resonate with me and the ‘jokes’ became distracting and annoying for me. Others might smirk or laugh.
