I really enjoyed this book. I liked both Alexandr and Cate. You can really feel his power and control in everything he does, from his movements, from his commands, from his pursuit. The story was suspenseful and exciting. I found Cate a little annoying at times- one second desperate to get away and needing to not be caught, and the next disappointed that she wasn’t. Overall a very fun and steamy quick story. This is my first book by this author.
I thought Piers Ryman did a great job bringing these characters to life. I really liked the difference between his growly Russian and the lighter female voice for Cate. This was my first time listening to his work and would be happy to listen to more.
