I enjoyed reading the first book, Dream a Little Dream, and listened to it in audio afterwards. For the sequel, I decided to just listen. We continue Aaron and his professor Kenny’s story. Kenny trying to push Aaron away and maintain boundaries, but the pull between these two was magnetic. And not exactly healthy. Kenny’s walls crumbling even as he built them. The suspense from the serial killer added mystery, danger, and excitement. These two do not have an easy road to navigate. I’m looking forward to book three. Piers Ryman did a good job bringing these characters and this story to life. His voice suits them well.
