To be honest, I expected a bit more from this one. Alpha Bait had more of everything. More story, more chemistry, more time to build the relationship, more plot. This one was nice, I liked it, but we had no plot, the smut was sometimes repetitive, and the author did not give the characters the time to actually build a forever kind of relationship. I loved the characters, individually and together, but because of the way the author rushed to finish the book I felt like so much was missing. Also, I understand the fact that they’re Alpha’s and omega’s, but… you do need to build up things. I understand k!nks, but you need to build trust. I felt like Peter was thrown into that and he just accepted anything not questions asked, which is unrealistic. It made Tex & Carver look insensitive and uncaring when in reality I dont think they truly are like that. As I said, I expected more and I’m sad this one did not deliver since I’ve waited for the audiobook to read it. 😔
