the book is fun. It has all the weird elements and world building I could hope for. the main character is an ant and the book has decent humor. some puns occasionally too which I know some don’t like but I really enjoyed. the character growth is awesome also. the way the book flows makes sense except in one plot point where the character focuses on themselves which makes sense except the skill they work on has no immediate or future impact considering time constraints. other than that it’s very well written with good plot movement and character development. and best of all the character is human that is an ant and not a monster with a dash of human. I read a book that mixed that up and the characters devolved into murderers and I was very put off and promptly stopped reading. this is not that. it’s exactly as promised. human as an ant.
